"Top 5 Stand Up Comics"

Criteria: We agreed that women aren’t funny and the greatest female comedian is below the 500 funniest men, so no women on our list. We decided that cursing is necessary to good comedy, so Bill Cosby is out. We also agreed that our list would be based entirely on stand-up careers, and ALL of their careers, as in the case of Andrew Dice Clay who was hysterical for a few years and then began singing during his act which sucked monkey ass.. For example, Jerry Seinfeld was a mediocre comedian with a fantastic TV show, thus he Doesn’t make the list. .

Overview: We lost touch with each other over the high brow/low brow factor of stand up comedy. We agree that cursing is fundamental to great comedy, but we couldn’t agree that using the cursing creatively is key.

Rob's Notes: Big surprise. I like intelligent comedy. Bathroom humor and dick jokes are funny, but they only go so far. The trick is to work a dick joke into your political commentary as many of my favorite comedians are pros at. Arnie thinks a guy that stands in the front of the room and says ka-ka over and over is hysterical. Arnie’s list doesn’t even include the man that most comedians say was the greatest ever, Richard Pryor.
.

Arnie's Notes: Well again this week Rob has had to resort to name calling and jumping on the bandwagon. This weeks bandwagon is comedy centrals list of "comedians". And as you can see, Rob's list sucks. My list is what I find funny. These people have made me laugh in the past, and if I were to hear their standup today, I would still laugh. Why does Rob have to be such a robot?????? I wish he would start thinking on his own.
