TOP 5 THINGS PEOPLE BELIEVE IN THAT ARE ACTUALLY FAKE
Overview: Humans are a gullible bunch. From religion to Santa Claus, we'll believe anything at various times in our lives despite mountains of evidence to the contrary. In fact, we live in an age where the appearance of truth, supported not by facts but by a majority, is far more important than actual fact.
Criteria: Anything that is supported, believed in or perpetrated by a large group of people as being real can be disputed by our list.
Rob's Notes: 30 Years ago we were told to prepare for an impending ice age, today we're told the earth is burning. All it takes is a barrage of propaganda and enough people repeating the phrase, "Y'know, they say…" and the American public eats it up like the lemmings they are.
Arnie's Notes: I am soooooooo sick and tired of the whole Peanut allergy talk out there. Look if your kid doesn't like nuts then don't give them any. Nuts are fine, and as far as the whole cancer/aids thing goes. There is a cure out there and the Government won't let them hand out the cure because then everyone would loose too much money.
