TOP 5 FAVORITE REALITY TV SHOWS OF ALL TIME

Overview: When “survivor” originally began years ago (which although it was not the original reality TV show it launched the current onslaught of the genre), we eschewed it. Close to a decade later, it’s hard to imagine life without “reality” TV.  Keep in mind the title of this list is “favorite,” not “greatest,” because any idiot knows that American Idol is the greatest reality show based simply on its’ asinine level of popularity.

Criteria: Any show that falls under a reality heading can be considered. This includes the “follow celebrities around,” shows, along with documentary type reality TV readily found on the Discovery channel, game shows like “The Bachelor,” and the more traditional definition which provides a supposed look at actual real peoples’ lives like “Nanny 911,” and the like.

Rob's Notes: I really despise reality TV in the abstract, mainly because shows like “Survivor,” are not real at all. They are contrived and mostly fake and staged. However, there is some reality TV that is either too entertaining to ignore, or as real as reality TV can be, and thus, I watch.

Arnie's Notes: Look here, I know that Cheaters is pretty much all made up and I'm ok with it.  The people are just so terrible that you can't look away.  And if you weren't lucky enough to ever get to see the Glutten Bowl then you missed out on people eating until it made the view sick.  One guy ate 96 ounces, that's 6 POUNDS of Mayonaise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
