TOP 5 FAVORITE FROZEN DINNERS OF ALL-TIME

Overview: September 10, 1953 marks the date that Swanson sold its’ first frozen meal. (http://people.howstuffworks.com/swanson-dinner.htm)

Fifty-five years later, there are more choices and foods available than anyone ever imagined possible.  We already listed our favorite items purchased from a grocer’s freezer (Top 5 Freezer Foods)

But in honor of the original TV dinner, these are five favorite frozen dinners of all time.

Criteria: This list focuses on the actual meal…in a tray, usually. No snacks allowed like pizza rolls, no desserts, no white castle burgers, but actual frozen dinners.

Rob's Notes: I admit that I eat fewer and fewer frozen foods, and especially meals, as the years wane on. They are staggeringly un-healthy for a variety of reasons and few of them, even in this day and age, are anywhere near as good as fresh cooking or home leftovers. However, on the are once per month that I bring a frozen dinner to work for a meal, I do have my favorites that are actually quite tasty.

Arnie's Notes: Look here, I really do love the Country Fried Steak dinner, but all the cheesiness of the Parmasean Chicken Cheesey Pot pie just blows me away!!!!!!!!!  I really do like the frozen dinners that you just throw in the microwave and don't have to stir or remove plastic the best.  And yes, I AM that lazy!!!!!!
