"Top 5 Horror Films"
Criteria: By horror films, we decided on slasher flicks of the 70s and 80s. While Hitchcock is a God, his movies are lame by comparison to the cut em up slasher movies of the 80s that defined great campy horror. We were looking for Gore and fright in our list.
Overview: For the first time ever, we came to an agreed upon top 5 list. Both of us had one film in our top 5 that the other had never seen, so we agreed to a consensus top 5 and each had an individual honorable mention.
Never before have so many lame nominations been sent in by you, the listener as on this topic. Crap like "Poltergeist," "The Blair Witch Project," "What Lies Beneath" and "The Sixth Sense" (which isn't even a horror movie) was nominated by you. Terrible.
Rob's Notes: Not only did we agree on the movies that made the list, we had no trouble with the rankings. I think that Arnie was so tired of being embarrassed by me week after week that he stepped up and became a man with this week's list.
Arnie's Notes: Finally Rob came to his senses and listened to me. You see Rob was sheltered as a child, and his "mommy" didn't let him see scary movies, because he would still be sleeping in her bed today if he did, so I'm glad he let me do this one.
