TOP 5 FAVORITE MOMENTS FROM THE ORIGINAL "INDIANA JONES" TRILOGY

Overview: To celebrate the release of first “Indiana Jones” movie in nearly two decades (and the fourth in the series) we recount our favorite moments and scenes from any of the first three films; “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” “Temple of Doom,” and “The Last Crusade.”

Criteria: Any scene or moment that occurred in any of the three original in the trilogy applies. Duh.

Rob's Notes:I based my list on two things; memorable moments and lines that I have quoted throughout my life.

Arnie's Notes: Look here, back when Indiana Jones was cool and a good trilogy these were AMAZING scenes. When you see one guy rip another guys still beating heart out and show him, you SO want to do that to your friends. Nothing is better though then the guy trying to show off with a sword and Indy just shoots him in his tracks.

5. The opening scene of “raiders” when Indiana outruns the boulder

4. The monkey brain dinner scene in “Temple of Doom”

3. Heart ripping sacrifice in “Temple of Doom”

2. In “The last crusade,” when the German traitor drinks from the wrong holy grail and thus dies of massive aging, the aged knight replies “he chose pooooorrrrly.”

1. In “raiders,” when Indy shoots the swordsman. The irony behind the fact that the scene was never in the script is beautiful.
