TOP 5 MOST OVERRATED PLAYERS IN THE NFL RIGHT NOW

Overview: Are you ready for some football? It's here, beginning this week, and so is our annual homage to the game via a top 5 list. This season, we discuss the players that are getting far more credit than they deserve.

Criteria: For a player to be considered "overrated" he has to be getting a lot of positive coverage/press from the media, the fans and the league (players, coaches, etc). A player can be overrated if he's been in the league 20 years and is past his prime, or has been in the league 5 years and not lived up to his potential.

Rob's Notes: Arnie is an idiot. How can a rookie be overrated? He can be over-hyped, for sure, but not overrated, not to mention that Reggie Bush will most likely live up to the hype when all is said an done. My list, as usual is more well thought out, including players who have failed to live up to their potential (Vick) and players that time has let down but still get lauded despite their lack of recent achievement (Favre).

Arnie's Notes: Look here, Reggie Bush will be one of if not the biggest flop ever in the NFL. That's right bigger than Tony Maderich and Ryan Leaf combined!!!!!! He's not that good he's just fast, and in the NFL everyone is fast. I'm tired of hearing about how great Eli Manning is going to be, he's not, he was a looser in college at Ole Miss and will be a looser in New York as well.

Rob's Top 5

5. Brian Urlacher (he's good not great)
4 Shaun Alexander (any running back would work in that system)
3. Randy Moss (doesn't have the ability to change a game)
2. Brett Favre (washed up)
1. Michael Vick (total bust)

HONORABLE MENTION
Donovan McNabb
Sebastian Janikowski

Arnie's Top 5

5. Terrell Owens
4. Eli Manning
3. Mike Vick
2. Adam Venetari
1. Reggie Bush
