"Top 5 Television Dads"

Criteria:
We agreed to base the list solely on the overall entertainment of the actual character, not whether or not he was a "good" dad. For example, Ward Cleaver might have been a great dad, but he was pretty boring.

Overview: Cartoon dads were allowed and the lists were based exclusively on personal preference. There was never a chance we were going to agree on this list.

Rob's Notes:
This list could have easily been renamed greatest TV characters who happened to be dads. I based my list on how much I liked the character as a dad, not whether he was a good father. All of my dads provide non-stop laughs and are entertaining first, good dads second…or maybe 5th. Arnie loses all credibility by not including Homer Simpson, one of the greatest TV CHARACTERS of all-time on his list of greatest dads. Idiot.

Arnie's Notes:I agonized over the whole Homer Simpson thing, but didn't want to make this a cartoon list because we had done that before. But Rob wasn't done with the cartoons, I mean Fred Flintstone????? To not have Fred G. Sanford on his list is just absolutely stupid. Sanford and Son was the name of the show!!!!!!! Hello a father and son! Rob is so CUTE with his little list. I can't wait to do favorite colors.
