Wednesday September 17th, 2008 TOP 5 WORST COMMERCIALS ON TV RIGHT NOW (PART II) Overview: We did this a year ago, almost literally to the day. Obviously, all new commercials have hit the tube since then, and lo and behold, there are still plenty of commercials on TV that suck. The current buzz about just how bad the new Jerry Seinfeld/Microsoft commercials motivated us to roll this update out. Ironically, some of the best spots running today are what motivated the Microsoft campaign, Apple’s on-going Mac/PC series. Criteria: The commercials have to be running as we write this or within the last 3 months Rob's Notes: I am appalled and amazed at what passes for funny and/or creative these days on TV, whether it be commercials or actual shows. I love Seinfeld, but those Microsoft spots are neither intelligent nor funny…but they are just the tip of the shit iceberg when it comes to TV commercials today. Arnie's Notes: Look here, I know that women do NOT talk about pooping EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially at a pool where other people can hear them. Hey Tampex, grow a pair and say that Aunt Flow was visiting.
