TOP 5 WORST THINGS ABOUT 2008

Overview: We have created a semi-annual tradition to end the year and this is it. Everyone loves a good "end of the year" list so here is ours, encompassing all things that sucked about the past 12 months.

Criteria: Anything, anyone, anywhere, any fad is eligible. Even things that didn't happen that maybe should have can be considered.

Rob's Notes:  2008 was quite a year. From Obama’s election to the economic meltdown of the world to tons of sports controversies and the worst season yet in the history of television, there was plenty that happened. No one can argue 2008 wasn’t eventful. Finding the 5 worst things about such a year is quite a task.

Arnie's Notes: This is the first year in a long long time that the famous McRibb did not come out and let me say that IT WAS NOTICED!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hated the fact that it didn't come out and it better come out next year. Heath Ledger dying was bad because it allowed people to lie and say he was a GOOD actor, and we all know that is shit.

5. Seth Rogen jumped the shark. Just when we thought we actually had a new comedic movie icon, Regan makes forker after forker, ranging from “Pineapple Express” to “Zack and Miri make a porno."

4. People “Devastated” by Clay Aiken’s admission of being gay. I can’t stand stunningly ignorant and naïve people. Grow up.

3. Prop 8 and everything related to Gay marriage. It is stunning to me to observe how absurdly people who are demanding tolerance exhibit intolerance to those who disagree with them. Worst civil rights campaign ever.

2. No Tiger Woods playing golf. There’s no reason to watch if the best isn’t on the course.

1. The absurd, unfounded hysteria over high gas prices in the summer. By the way, I told you so.
