TOP 5 WORST SONGS THAT WERE HUGE HITS

Overview: Just because something is popular and/or successful doesn't mean it's good. "Titanic," for example, is the most financially successful movie of all time but there are a lot of us who believe it's not a very good movie. This list is designed to find the "Titanic's" of the music world.

Criteria: The goal here is to identify songs that became hugely popular but sucked. There is no point in naming a song that didn't achieve mass success, because clearly most people agreed that the song was no good. Our challenge here is to find songs that achieved mass popularity for no known reason to our senses.

Rob's Notes: I have always had a wide array of musical tastes. My collection ranges from Frank Sinatra to 50 Cent to Metallica to everything in between. The three greatest concerts I have been to are Barry Manilow, Van Halen and Luciano Pavorotti. I know music. What I don't know is how to explain the lemming quality in you people that allows certain shitty songs to become so big.

Arnie's Notes: Ok, so Rob has the all time worst song on his list and I can't believe I didn't think of it. We are the World beats every song on my list and I give credit where credit is due. But you have to admit that Smells like Teen spirit is awful too!!!!!!!!!
