TOP 5 WORST SOUNDS

Overview: A new study says that most people perceive vomiting to be the absolute worst sound. At first look, "worst sounds" seems like a dumb discussion, but the truth is that all of us have certain noises that we just can't stand. (click here to read the news story)

Rob's Notes: I hate all things shrill. Alarms, babies, rings, etc drive me nuts. I think it's part of my psychological anathema towards anything or anyone that says "look at me!" I can't stand people who need attention, and apparently I can't stand inanimate objects that also scream "me me me!"

Arnie's Notes: I crindge everytime I hear Dawn start to laugh and we are not on the air. It is a sound that will haunt my dreams forever and ever. The same is through with the dentist drill and that's why I don't go. I wish I could not hear Dawns laugh but that would mean that I'm unemployeed then.
