Wednesday June 4th, 2008 TOP 5 WORST TELEVISION DADS OF ALL-TIME Overview: It’s that time of the year again; time to completely forget about your father and ignore Father’s Day! No one knows how to impugn or embarrass American dads more than television, where they have spent decades making all fathers look like bumbling, chauvinistic idiots. Criteria: Any criteria can be used, whether it be the crappy writing, horrible acting or dopey actor portraying the dad. These are our five most hated TV dads of all time. Rob's Notes:I am not personally offended by watching TV dad after TV dad portrayed as more and more stupid; I am far more offended by how lame, pathetic and non-entertaining TV has become in general. But I digress. A bad TV dad is one who is so stupid or insensitive that it’s not even remotely plausible, but more importantly a bad TV dad is uninteresting and (if meant to be a sitcom) not funny. Arnie's Notes: Look here, I don't know about you but if my dad was a live-in maid I wouldn't be proud, I'd proudly be ashamed! Plus he only had a girl and look how the boy turned out in real life on the show. Coincidence???????? I don't think so. Hey Tony Soprano, black screen my ass you suck bag!!!!!!
