TOP 5 WORST TV THEME SONGS EVER

Overview: A new survey was released this week listing the best theme songs currently running on TV (the list sucked, by the way). As a result, we thought why limit ourselves to only current TV shows? Any why be positive?

Criteria: Any TV show, cable or network is eligible. We’re looking for the opening/main theme song of them (for you dolts, that means the music that’s playing during the opening credits). The list of best themes is easy and ranges from “Cheers” to “The Simpsons” to even “that 70’s show!” Great theme songs make you leave the channel on and sing along. Horrible theme songs make you change the channel right away and gnaw away at your brain like a cancerous leech, with no positive re-enforcement to them whatsoever.

Rob's Notes:Any theme song that has nothing to do with the actual show (like that idiotic pop tune used for the opening of “the Hills”), any song or theme that is stunningly stupid or lazy (“Two and Half men”) or any song that makes me change the channel right away for all reasons combined drive me nuts.

Arnie's Notes: Look here, MASH had to be the MOST depressing show EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And so was the theme song, hello it was called, "Suicide is Painess". Really????? I don't think that it's too painless if you chop off your own head, that might sting a little bit. I HATED THE SHOW MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
