ANIMAL LOVERS

No no no, I don’t mean that kind of animal loving, you perverts!!!!! Since I was a child we always had pets, dogs, cats, rabbits even had a turtle at one point but manly just cats and dogs. My grandfather grew up on a farm and his side of the family still has farms and ranches with lots of animals. My husband grew up having cats, dogs, and horses and his mom and dad grew up having cats, dogs, horses, pigs and chickens. My father in law had to tend to the chickens everyday after school, as a result he wants nothing to do with a chicken farm now except eating the chickens!! Most of my friends growing up had animals and many of my friends now have pets as well. I have been surrounded by pet owners since I was a child and since then I have noticed there is a real difference between being a pet owner and a true animal lover. One too many times I have seen folks who have pets and once they have kids the pets no longer exist?? I truly don’t understand that. On the other hand thank god I have also been witness to folks that have animals and once the kids come along they still love and treat their animals the same as before, example of a true animal lover! My father, god rest his soul, used to say to me, watch how a man treats animals it’s a good indication of how he will treat you, also an indication of how he might treat others and life in general. Sure enough the men that were dedicated, took the time to do the hard work it takes to own some animals, attentive to the animal, strong when they needed to be with the animal without being angry or outwardly frustrated and gentle when needed were the guys that treated women that way and surprisingly their careers! When I thought about it, the same could be said about women. Hey there are plenty of gals that do not have gentle souls and are not loving and caring so maybe you can figure out if you have one of those by how she treats her animals or your animal for that matter for example does she only give the animal love when it is convenient for her? Probably how she will treat you as well. It’s very interesting when I watch people with their pets and then watch them in life the way it corresponds is freaky!! Some of the most amazing people I know are true animal lovers and I really think the two are intertwined. Animals are such precious creatures, they have so much love to give and they put no limitations on that love and they give you love whether you give it back or not and they will keep trying and trying to give you love no matter how you treat them. They are loving and loyal and only want to bring you joy, this touches the deepest depth of a true animal lover’s soul which helps this to be A Wonderful Life!!
