BYE BYE NAY SAYERS

We all know these type of people, the ones who never have anything positive to say, the ones who are the first to hope you fail at what you are trying, the ones who get happy to see you doing so poorly, the ones who hate that you are making changes to be a better person and they just want you miserable right along side of them. Ughhhhh oh yeah we have all had our encounters with these folks, of course unless you are one them! Sometimes we keep them in our lives for waaaaaay too long, a friend we just excuse because well they have always just been this way or it could be a relative that you just feel obligated to be around because of blood and all. Funny though as time goes on and you get more grounded in your Optimistic lifestyle the less tolerant you are to have the nay sayers around. Remember when you were in High School it was all about the quantity of friends then you get older and you realize how important your time is and it becomes about the quality of people you allow in your life. Are they good honest people who lift you up instead of tear you apart? When you are around them do they bring joy to the table or just drama and chaos? These are the types of questions we start asking ourselves and our list of people we are truly close with becomes a lot smaller than when we were young!!!

As we get closer to the end of the year, human nature has us reflecting and promising to make changes where we want improvement in our life, I hope you find yourself making changes if needed, with who you surround  yourself with. It really makes a difference in the quality of your life who you allow in it. If you want positive thoughts to dominate your mind you must surround yourself with positive people. Being with friends who only complain, bitch and moan is toxic and eventually brings you down with them, which is what they are hoping for, you know the saying misery loves company! So on your end of the year checklist, mark this as a priority to rid your life of the nay sayers to help make 2010 a Wonderful year!
