WOMEN FRIENDSHIPS CAN BE BETTER THAN A THERAPIST

Yes of course I am Pro therapy, I love my therapist! However I must say therapy does not compare to the close friendships and bonds that us women form. I am talking the true girl friendships that only us gals that have them really know what that feels like. I am not talking about the friendships that are formed between women based on looks or financial status, or the friendships that are full of drama and backstabbing. Yes I know as a woman we all experience this kind of shit but then there comes a time where we weed out the fake friendships and only allow the true real ones in. You know the ones where those girls are your rock, a safe place, you can share ANYTHING with and it won’t go anywhere. The friendships that even if you haven’t talked in a month or more you just pick up right where you left off as if no time has passed at all and you still feel just as close, don’t you love that. The friendships that are around thru all your hardships and will do anything they can to help you thru them. The friendships that place no judgment however when you ask them to be honest with you they will even if it’s hard to hear what they are telling you! They help you grow as a woman, they encourage you, they want you to succeed and be happy.

One of the beauties of being a woman are the friendships we share with other women. Are their backstabbing, ruthless, vindictive, fake bitches out there? Of course there are! That’s why us true real women stick together!! My advice for younger girls is always make time to nurture your friendships. Of course your relationship with your husband, boyfriend and or kids is extremely important however you still need and crave that girl time so don’t’ take it for granted and don’t let it fall to the way side. Us woman can be a little nutty at times and no one can understand that more than your girlfriends! We laugh, cry, grow and shop together and that helps this to be A Wonderful Life!!
