George is our boy cat and good Lord what joy that cat brings!! Not to say that our 2 other cats don’t…Autumn is a total sweetheart and loves to be loved in the typical cat fashion when she decides it’s time for attention! Other than that you’d better leave her alone or she will swipe you in the nose! Amber is our ferrel cat who is so damn adorable but we can’t touch her! She only likes cats to touch her, she will hang out with us but keeps her distance! So what’s so different about George? I think George thinks he is a dog! There is NO time that he doesn’t want to be around us, he follows my husband and I everywhere we go in the house. If we go outside he is waiting by the door for us to come back in. When we are in the shower he is right outside the shower, when we go to the bathroom he is right there as we sit on the toilet. When I sit at the computer he jumps up on the desk to be right with me, does the same for my husband. He knows when bedtime is and will start walking back to the room waiting for us to open the bedroom door. He has the same routine every night, jumps up on my husband’s night stand and waits for him to get into bed, seriously if it takes my husband 15 minutes, George will just sit there waiting before he jumps on the bed, once my husband is in bed George then will jump on the bed, lay on my husband’s chest and then walk across my pillow to lay over on my side. On the weekends when our schedules are a little different we will hear him by our bedroom door at the time we usually go to be during the week doing his cat bark. Yes he barks! Really it is the funniest thing, he sounds like a dog sometimes!

George LOVES people, when guests come over Autumn and Amber usually go hide, not George he wants to see what all the action is about and wants to be a part of that action! I think it is his way of letting people know he rules the house and is in charge! I wasn’t always a cat person, until 8 years ago when I got Autumn that my heart just fell in love with these felines, the joy that they add to one’s life really does help this to be A Wonderful Life!!
