HOW TO LOOK GOOD NAKED

So there is this new show on Lifetime TV called ‘How to look good Naked’ hosted by Queer Eye for the Straight Guy’s Carson Kressley. The basic premise of the show is to get women to love the body they are in at this very moment. It is Carson Kressley’s job to get the women to the point of being comfortable in their own skin. So the episode I saw was with this one gal who was not  huge nor was she a stick figure. She was a girl with curves ya know she had boobs and hips, which is NOT a bad thing it is very womanly! Any who Carson first sat down with her to get to know her a little bit and like the majority of us women she felt she wouldn’t be pretty until she lost at least 40 pounds and  all her life she has been on a diet, again just like the majority of women. After Carson got her comfortable with him he took her to a mirror and had her strip down to her bra and panties. Okay stop here, that my friend takes MAJOR guts!!! Exposed right there for all to see and it’s not like she was doing a photo shoot that would only highlight her good qualities we got to see it all good and not so good, I applaud her!!! The reason Carson had her do this was for her to really look at her body and really get to know her body. He then asked her what she didn’t like about her body, of course like most women it was the majority of her body she didn’t like!! Arms, legs, stomach, hips you know ALL the trouble spots!!! He then pointed out to her all the great things about her body that he saw, great shoulders, great breasts, great legs and he actually liked her arms. He wanted to point out that each women has good qualities with their bodies and we should each know what that is so when we dress we can highlight the good ones and mask the not so good. From there he was able to dress her for her body type and vavoom!! She looked great in clothes that accentuated her shoulders, breasts, and waist , gave her the hourglass figure which is the shape most women want to have. During the show Carson points out that when you don’t dress for your body type you can actually make yourself look bigger than you are and what gal wants that!!!! He showed 3 women dressed very differently and 2 out of 3 of them looked heavy but it turns out it was the same women with 3 separate outfits and only 1 outfit was the right style for her that actually flattered her body while the other ones made her look bigger than she actually was. By the end of the show the girl Carson had been working with was finally on her way to learning and accepting to love what she has instead of concentrating on her flaws. Fantastic! Thumbs up to Lifetime for signing this show on, maybe you will watch it and it will spark something inside of you to accept your body, the good and not so good and that my girls will help to make this A Wonderful Life!!
