With these difficult Economic times you can decide to pass or fail the test. Since I am a person of faith I believe God puts our faith to the test many times in our lives, these present times being one of them.  The natural human reaction to what is going on currently is to be mad, depressed, full of anxiety and or despair.  However God instead calls us to have faith. In the midst of chaos it is 100 percent possible to be at peace and full of faith that this too shall pass.  Jeremiah 29:11 is one of my favorite versus in the bible…’For I know the plans I have for you  declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ This is a promise that you can fully trust. Even in your hardships when all looks bleak and you are struggling to make ends meat, God will follow thru with his promise to give you a hope and a future. All you have to do is remain faithful to God and live each day with a positive outlook that with the talents God has given you along with strength and guidance you will eventually prevail.

I think as humans that is where we struggle, with the word ‘eventually.’ We don’t want to wait, we want everything okay right now and we don’t want to deal with the struggle of it all. You may be saying who the hell embraces the struggle? Well the goal is we all should. It is thru these current hard times that we will learn a lot about ourselves. We might learn that we don’t handle adversity very well and we should learn to change that immediately, remember anything worth having will require hard work. We will also learn that it is during these times that God is helping to mold our character, we are also learning that only God can give us true peace when everything around us may not be so peaceful. He will fill your heart with not only peace but with love and understanding that this is only temporary.

Maybe you have made bad choices in your life, maybe you have had bad things happen to you, whatever it may be, God is your answer. He has given you talents that will lead you out of these hard economic times however you must have faith, you must have hope that with God ALL is possible.  You must believe that you are in the situation you are in for a reason. Each person’s reason is going to be different. Maybe you needed a wake up call that you weren’t making the best choices for your life, maybe you needed to be brought down a peg of two to realize all you have taken for granted, maybe your struggle is an inspiration to many who need one…..When you have God on your side, whether good or bad is happening in your life, God will always use it for the good, which makes this A Wonderful Life!!
