WHAT CELLULITE!

It’s estimated that anywhere from 90 to 95 percent of women have cellulite..so why is it that we all act so surprised when we have it or we see a photo of a movie star with it and then we proceed to say how gross it is that that gal  has cellulite when chances are pretty damn good you have it yourself??? Let’s leave guys out of this conversation, sadly we have come to expect them to be grossed out they themselves are just a product too of society putting unrealistic expectations on women and there is no way of having them see it differently when we women do the same. So for the sake of this Wonderful life they are off the hook!!

Truly this kind of shit starts with us gals, we get upset because we are constantly compared, sized up and pressured to look a certain way,  in this case cellulite free and instead of just being  the best we can health wise we too dog on other women for their imperfection if you want to call it that for having something so normal, yes normal, as cellulite. What the hell is wrong with us and our bashing of our own??!! Seriously why is it such a story when you see a photo of Teri Hatcher who oh my god has some cellulite on the back of her thigh, you know why it’s a story, we have made it a story. When we are at the gym or the beach and we see just some random girl with cellulite we point it out as if it’s some big freaken deal. We buy products and magazines like crazy that say they have the magic potion or workout move that will get rid of it….NOT…ask any honest Fitness guru and they will tell you there is no way of getting rid of it, you can eat better and tone your muscles to make the cellulite appear to be less than it is, but again I say, 90 to 95 percent of us gals have it, the rest are phenomenon’s!!

We are in charge of our bodies and the more we except our own bodies the more this kind of shit has no place in our lives. If your cellulite bothers you for no other reason than it bothers you that’s completely different than the reason it bothers you is because society has pressured you to think so, I know it can be hard to go against what society has lead us to believe that you should be ashamed and disgusted with yourself if you have some cellulite, but try going against that norm, I mean really at the end of the day it’s just cellulite, in this big scope of life with all its ups and downs cellulite is just so miniscule, and that is Wonderful!
